The Property Valuation Administrator is a locally elected official who is charged with appraising all property, both real and personal, that lies within McCracken County. The Property Valuation Administrator does not set property tax rates, nor does he or she collect property taxes.
Nancy Bock began her role as Property Valuation Administrator in 1993. She has served as an Executive Member on the Kentucky Chapter of International Association of Assessing officers is Past President of the Association. She has taught classes and continues to train other Deputy PVAs and Revenue Employees. Bock was chosen as a Member of the Year by the Kentucky Chapter of IAAO and was given the 2010 Kentucky PVA of the Year and 2013 Instructor of the Year awards. The McCracken County PVA Office was chosen as the 2012 Outstanding Jurisdiction in Kentucky.
